          Marker" at the site of the former factory and home of W.A.

          Lawrence, First President of the Village of Chester and Civic Leader.

          Alex Prizgintas begins his “Travelogues of Orange County”

          videoseries     in Chester. Travelogue No. 1 showcases the Erie

          Railroad's Chester Station which, in the spring of 1842, was the

          center of a major innovation in marketing and transportation that

          would make millions for the railroad. It would also revolutionize

          business for dairy farmers all while saving countless thousands of

          infants from disease and death. Let us see what else this renovated

          gem, now the home of the Chester Historical Society,

          "Chester Black Dirt" program! Saturday, June 17 from

          10 a.m. noon. Speakers included Naomi Hanson, executive director

          of Museum Village, and EJ Szulwach. This exciting program took

          place at Meadow Blues Coffee, 8 Greycourt Avenue, Chester.
